The Chance Reunion, Take 2

Okay, so it didn't work the first time, so here it is again.

This past weekend we went to Panhandle, Tx for the Chance family reunion. We had people from all over there: Pittsburg, PA, Searcy, AR, Abilene, and Big Spring. Okay, most of the people were from Texas. We had a good time, and we got to see people we haven't seen since Reuben's brother Andrew's wedding. We did get to see some of them last year at his brother Jared's wedding, though. You'd think we would see his relatives that live in Abilene more, but we had to travel to Panhandle to see them!! Go figure.


This is 28 members of the Chance family. There are currently 40.


We also got to see Reuben's cousin Brittany's kids: Shaylee who's 4, and Kenton who's 1 1/2.

The Chance Family Reunion

I'm SAD!!

Okay, so the Malletts have officically moved to Mansfield. I am very happy for them, but also sad for us (well, REALLY ME) because I have become so attached to their three kids. I won't get to play hide and seek with Ryland; I won't get to have Raylee help me put on my makeup; and I won't get to hold Reese! What a bummer! Reuben will miss them, too.
We both cried when we finally pulled out of their driveway on Saturday morning......if we didn't leave then, we might never leave (which isn't a bad thing!!!). But, it was time to go. Luckily, Raylee was asleep or I might have never left her!!!! I can still see her sleeping on the couch in my night shirt. (She looks so cute in Pink, don't you think Harmony?)
Well, I guess we'll just have to make lots of trips to Mansfield!!
